The Producer Price Index (PPI) for final demand was unchanged in February, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics report. Final demand prices rose 0.6% in January and 0.5% in December 2024. The last time total final demand was unchanged month-over-month was July, 2024. The flat January-February index is the most notable reversal in the 12-month data.
