Trading Interest in ERCOT North Goes South

Traders in ERCOT North Real Time peak futures and options are a lot less bullish and less active compared to last year. According to last week’s CFTC Commitments of Traders Report, traders are net long 71% versus 98% in 2019. Traders are also holding 12% fewer positions, or a drop of 1,892,800 MWh year-over-year.
