Long-Term Inflation Edges Up

The August readout on long-term expected inflation from the Federal Reserve shows a small month-over-month increase. The 10-year projection is 2.13%. In July, the projection was 2.06 %. The indicator has entered a new period of volatility after a steady increase from 2020 through mid-2022.
