CEOS: Softer, But Still Positive

The latest Business Roundtable of CEOs shows a softer but still positive view of the economy. The Q3 economic outlook survey of 170 CEOs shows quarter-quarter drops in expectations of sales, capital spending, and employment. The overall index fell to 84 but is still considerably higher than the expansion or contraction threshold of 50.
